Driving Range & Practice Facilities
Open to Members & The Public: Surrey National’s extensive practice facilities offer a total solution for year round practice and include:
Driving Range:
- 22 bays
- Multiple targets & greens
- 400 yards long
Short game area:
- Large multi-level green
- 2 bunkers
Putting Greens:
- 2 putting greens
- USGA specification drainage for year round practice
Spring lesson Offer
Why not use the Spring Lesson offer to improve your golf swing, and start seeing the benefits as well as your scores drop on the course.
The lesson can be used for the full swing, Irons, Woods, Wedge Play or Putting
Indoor SKYTRAC lessons, on Course Lessons, individual 121 are also available, all designed for the individual player.

Surrey National Golf Club does not take responsibility for any lessons/vouchers purchased and they are the sole responsibility of the golf professional they were organised with.
During the months of May, June & July we will be offering free beginner groups lessons. Learn the basics from the grip to the full swing and get course ready! Bookings are on a first come, first serve basis with a maximum of 8 people in a group.

Daniel Humble
P.G.A – Head Professional
Daniel has been coaching for over 25 years and feels the fastest way to improve and stay consistent with your game is regular one to one lessons.
Along with full swing assessments, Daniel specialises in the short game, plus on course management, he feels with seventy per cent of the game being from one hundred yards and in that this is the area most players can improve their game, whether it’s a one-off lesson to fix a fault, or a structured course of lessons to improve your game, you can be assured Daniel will get you playing and thinking your best golf.
He uses Skytrak Launch Monitor Plus V1 Video analysis during his lessons which allows for instant feedback, he also offers custom fitting for members and Guests to Surrey National GC.
Mark Hembery
P.G.A Teaching Professional
Mark has been coaching golf for over 15 years. He loves to take an active role in providing first class service to golfers of all abilities from beginners to more experienced players. Mark enjoys working closely with his pupils and aims to help them with their understanding and appreciation of the mechanics of the golf swing.
Mark also has over 4 years’ experience teaching in Thailand and Australia, where he was responsible for developing the Junior programmes and growing the game of golf.
He uses V1 Video Swing Analysis, which provides instant feedback for the pupil and enables a structured analysis to aid with the development of their swing.
